Kayleigh Keen
Communications & Community Engagement Manager
Kayleigh came to the LGS Foundation in 2014 after her son’s diagnosis of Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome. Her previous experience with nonprofits, outgoing personality, and obvious passion for helping others made her the perfect candidate for the Foundation’s Family Ambassador program. After several years serving the LGS community as a family ambassador, Kayleigh took the role of Southern Regional Coordinator for the ambassador program, where she helped mentor dozens of ambassador volunteers, hosted numerous community events, and supported hundreds of newly diagnosed families as they learned to navigate the LGS journey. In 2020 Kayleigh officially accepted her new role with the LGS Foundation as the Communications & Community Engagement Manager.
Kayleigh, her husband Craig, and two boys, Dylan and William reside in central Florida. The family continues to play an active role in the LGS community, encouraging others to advocate for themselves and partner with their healthcare teams. During their free time, the family enjoys spending time at their cattle ranch soaking up the fresh air and exploring nature.
