LGS Family & Professional Conference Scholarships
Thanks to the generous support of our friends at Lundbeck & Takeda, the LGS Foundation will provide a limited number of family scholarships to individuals or families who might otherwise not be able to attend the Family & Professional Conference.
In addition, other community-based civic organizations may offer full or partial funding for individuals and families to attend conferences related to disability research, advocacy and services. We encourage those interested in receiving financial support from the LGS Foundation to first apply to various local organizations, prior to submitting this scholarship request.
The family scholarships may be used to cover the cost of registrations and lodging. This also includes access to the exhibit hall as well as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks during the conference. They cannot be used to cover the cost of transportation.
If you are unable to attend the conference, any awarded scholarship funds will be forfeited. In addition, the LGS Foundation is not liable for any domestic or international travel matters such as visa issues, flight cancelations, delays, or any injury because of travel to or from the conference.
Based on the number of requests received, the LGS Foundation may only be able to award one scholarship per family to allow as many individuals as possible to attend. Please complete and submit your scholarship application by November 26, 2023. Notifications on scholarship awards will be made January 8, 2024. For questions, please contact Info@LGSFoundation.org
