The LGS Foundation values transparency to ensure that our donors have the highest level of confidence when making their contributions. Our goal is to cultivate that confidence and trust in all we do.
We strive to keep our overhead low. In 2022, over 90% of our total operating expenses funded programs that benefit children, families, and communities impacted by Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome.

Our Tax-Exempt Public Charity 501(c)(3)Status
The founders established the LGS Foundation to create a community of support for families living with LGS and improve their lives. It was established in the state of New York and was designated a tax-exempt public charity in the United States in October 2009 by the Internal Revenue Service under Section 501(c)(3).
