International LGS Awareness Day
November 1
Join Us In raising awareness for the more than one million children and adults worldwide living with LGS!
On November 1st, International LGS Awareness Day, communities from around the globe come together to raise awareness for Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS).
LGS is a rare and severe form of epilepsy that usually begins in early childhood and persists into adulthood. Individuals living with LGS suffer from frequent, often daily, debilitating seizures, cognitive impairment, developmental regression, and an increased risk of Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP).
There are currently no cures, but there is a hopeful path forward with increased awareness of the devastating disorder!
