Interested in Becoming a Patient Navigator or Family Ambassador?

Our Patient Navigator & Family Ambassador Program is a dedicated group of empowered and caring volunteers who work closely with the LGS Foundation to ensure no one feels alone on this LGS journey.

We are firmly grounded in the belief that everyone living with LGS should have access to the information, resources, and support they deserve, including a connection with others.

Do you have the heart to help others and a desire to give back? The LGS Foundation is seeking caring individuals to assist with our growing community. As a Patient Navigator or Family Ambassador, you uniquely understand life with LGS. Sharing your experience positively impacts others, knowing they are not alone.

Patient Navigators and Family Ambassadors are committed to the LGS Foundation Mission and Vision as they:

  • Provide one-on-one support and mentorship upon completion of the new peer support training program.
  • Are an active part of our Facebook Online Community and monthly Support Groups, and help connect new families and caregivers who are seeking information on a specific topic.
  • Participate and attend virtual and in-person events, including fundraising for our family-centered programs.
  • Raise LGS Awareness through education, outreach, and collaboration.
